Cleaning Dilemma Without Toxins

I’m curious. What do you do about the cleaning dilemma?

Take my poll because I would like to know.  I’ve tried all sorts of things. I’m not judging anyone for what they use. I just thought the poll would be interesting. Feel free to leave your comments, too.

Some of my kids and I are very sensitive to cleaners.  I’ve quit using cleaners from the store because of it.  I’ve been frustrated with “Non-Toxic’ Cleaners that give us the same issues.  When I read the labels they too seem to be full of fragrance and chemicals I don’t want.

Out comes Vinegar and soda.  It works, but after a while it seems like everything smell of vinegar.

Cheap, Non-Toxic, & Safe, Face Mask

I’ve been thinking of shooting my own video of this face mask for weeks. Time has a way of passing by and I still haven’t done it. Many others have, and most likely are hoping to get a few more hits on their video. So I will just help out Michelle Phan tonight.

I have only used the egg white and I am a bit squeamish so I used a brush from my Ava Anderson brush set to apply it. The brush worked beautifully! The mask makes your face nice and smooth. Eczema and Non-Toxic Products

I will be honest, I am not an expert on eczema but I have kids who struggle with eczema.  Sometimes it seems like there is no rhyme or reason to an eczema breakout.

Shampoo Alert…Read Your Labels

I always tell my customers to read the labels.  When my sister sent the following Shampoo Alert in an email I thought it was so fitting.  We all need a good laugh everyday.

  

Shampoo alert!  

   As I was conditioning my hair in the shower this morning, I took time to read my shampoo bottle.  I am in shock!  The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my entire body says “for extra volume and body”!  Seriously, why have I not noticed this before?  Now I understand why I am so “full-figured!”

   Tomorrow I am going to start using “Dawn” dish soap.  It says right on the label “dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove.”

   It pays to read the warning labels, my friends!

In its recently released 2011 Sunscreen Report, the Environmental Working Group states that it is unfortunate that consumers must …. “pick your sunscreen: nanomaterials or potential hormone disruptors.”
